Horse and stable paint by numbers

 I was not too optimistic about the Reeves brand before, because there are only 7-10 colors and the patterns are relatively general. After careful study, I feel that there are still merits, such as personally prefer hand-drawn line drafts and delicate styles, etc., so I decided to be a guinea pig and share a little experience with everyone.

I bought two patterns, a package and a full set of simple packaging, a pen, 7 paint bottles, line drafts and a multilingual manual. It is recommended to buy the horse paint by numbers of ProArts brand, which is a digital painting with good results before pro-testing.

This is the paint tray that can be removed from the packaging. The color number is marked here. It is recommended to use a marker to write the number on the lid, otherwise it will be troublesome if it is messed up.

Main idea: Prepare the water and the color palette, then tear off the paint tray on the package, and put the paint. From top to bottom, draw large color blocks first, and wash the pen after each color. Important point:: Some areas have more than one label, and you need to mix the same amount of colors to adjust to the appropriate color. Remember to wear overalls and cover the furniture. Finally, you can create your own works through retouching. Warning: Paint may cause stains, protect clothing and furniture. Keep the packaging in case you need it. The content, I just said.

The color grading is marked with two-color numbers at the same time, such as 4/17, etc., look blind!

First, I drew two large background areas, and clicked the grid to draw, and found that the effect was very unsatisfactory. And there are a lot of color patches needed for toning. If you have scruples about the color palette, you must be cautious!

I didn't use the color palette, but dipped a large piece of A color into the lid of the opened B paint bottle, and mixed the colors in the bottle cap. The advantage is that it saves pigments, but the disadvantage is that the number of toning is particularly large, and there will be a color difference after each adjustment.

I really can’t accept drawing by the grid, the effect is not good, please refer to the picture above. The pigment is very dilute and cannot form texture. After it dries, it becomes matte. This is a bit like the gouache that everyone said before.

In terms of color adjustment, according to the observed rules, No. 17 is white and No. 21 is black. All the colors of this painting that need to be adjusted are related to these two color numbers.

I want to say that the color scheme of the whole painting is very good. In the beginning, I compared the renderings on the packaging, and I felt that the color difference was great. I even adjusted the color myself. Later I found that there should be a color difference on the packaging. Macro, the texture of the paper is clearly visible.

When there is less paint on the pen, because of the texture of the drawing paper, you can't draw clear lines, and even feel that the picture becomes very dirty.
