I started painting on May 3rd. First, I painted the large grids of the skin. It is a lighter color and it will be harder to see the edges if there is not enough light, especially the rose petals in the upper left and upper right corners.
It took 3 hours to paint 1 color, and it was basically completed.
After painting for another 4 hours: there are so many small grids in the upper left, upper right and top leaves! A lot of it needs to be outlined, even a leaf has to use multiple colors!
By the evening of May 5th, 5 colors were completed, but there were many small grids and there was no sense of accomplishment. I continued to work hard for 4 hours in the evening, and I painted a color. Fortunately, this color has a large grid.
On May 6th and 7th, it took about 4 hours to complete one color. I feel more and more why this paint is so smooth? It's very easy to push.
On the evening of May 8th, within 2 hours, a color was completed, which was also a lighter color. It is expected that dark colors such as black will be painted in the future.
The paint has not been diluted, it is painted directly. It's troublesome to dilute the paint by yourself. If many colors are too dry and need to be thinned by yourself, you can tell the seller.
Paint by numbers girl painting skin is the most difficult to deal with. When painting, don’t pile "walls" on the edges of the skin color blocks. Brush diagonally a little bit to make the connection between dark and dark surfaces. After painting the light colors and dark colors, use light colors to dilute them. Sweeping in deep places will be a lot softer.
I have also considered whether or not to blend the shades between the light and dark colors, it will be more natural. "The edge of the color block piles on the wall" is a good idea, but the two colors are too clear. "Slanting a little bit to make the connection of the dark side" This kind of paint that needs to be relatively dry will have an effect, mine is too wet, I guess there is no such effect, this effect is seen in real oil paintings.
The recent paintings are all in bright colors, so the coquettish and charming have come out, but it is really cruel to compare the original image of the game provided by a friend! The stark difference! I really have the urge not to paint anymore!
I originally planned to paint it again to make the connection between the colors and lines better. Now I have no plans. I will try to finish the custom paint by numbers as soon as possible and hurry up to paint something else.
At this point, this "Lengyan" was completed, and it took 32.5 hours in total, which is the time for all the colors to be painted only once.
If you look closely, it's still a bit white. Because of the poor results, I suddenly stopped loving. I don't plan to paint a second time, just start another new painting.
in conclusion:
1. The paint is really smooth and easy to push, which is an advantage.
2. There are more dark colors and a strong sense of contour.
3. The drawn effect is quite different from the effect drawing, and there are shortcomings.
4. The small grids of the artwork are very small and very troublesome. It is often necessary to compare the drawings with shortcomings. For example, the tattoo on the hand uses a lot of colors, and the fan Bing also uses a lot of colors and slender grids. The outline of a few rose petals should also be compared to the paint by numbers drawing.
