"Butterfly Pandan" is a potted flower paint by number that looks very elegant, beautiful and refined, with a moderate size of 40*50cm, which is very suitable for hanging at home.
I was thinking about drawing a birthday, marriage or moving house and showing it as a gift, but now I started drawing, but I changed my mind! I want to keep this picture for myself! Because: It's too difficult to paint, I'm not willing to give it away!
I remember the first time I saw the drawing, I still felt that the grid was big and easy to draw, and it was easy to draw in the potted flower category.
But I was wrong!
After I actually started to paint, I discovered that the grids are very small and there are many turning points. It is easy to leave a gap between the two-color blocks when they are connected. It is not possible to finish the painting in one stroke, and a lot of strokes have to be separated.
The most tragic thing is that I actually bought a personalized paint by number that needs to be graded by myself!
I didn't plan to paint this picture first. It was just that I tore the package by hand that night and pour it out. Oh, there are only 12 colors. It's so easy and simple! Look closely at the paint by numbers canvas, it’s not right, why are there so many letters? There is no paint with letters! ! Compare the drawings again, it's a tragedy, there are 12 colors to adjust yourself! At that moment, I was stunned, as if I had been subjected to a fixation technique! Obviously, when I bought it, I confirmed with the seller not to color the version, but now I found out that I had already confirmed the payment, not to mention, I tore the packaging, and I can’t return it. I had to accept my fate and paint slowly.
I plan to draw the numbers that don't need to be graded first, and then the letters that need to be graded. Paint one color a day (because the paint is expected to dry slowly), it is expected to be updated very slowly. . . .
I finished painting by number 3 colors, it took 3.5 hours. Look at the picture: blue, purple, rose red.
I don’t know why, the progress is so fast, in fact, it is all small grids, and you have to be careful to draw it out.
On the first day of the holiday, I got up at 7:15 in the morning and started painting. It took 3.5 hours to paint and finished 3 colors: black, yellow, and pink.
At this point, all-digital labeling is complete!
Next, start to paint the toning part!
In order to avoid the cumbersome and wasteful frequent color adjustments, I decided to reuse the leftover paint boxes and free up two rows of 12 empty boxes to prepare the 12 colors!
Dried paint can be hung up, and the ones that are not dry are picked out and wrapped in paper towels and discarded. It took 1.5 hours to wash it for nothing. Finally, two rows of empty boxes were created.
I was preparing to color, but found that the part should be pink and painted rose color! Mainly concentrated on the top and northeast corner! And the wrong color is connected with the grid that should be this color! You can only redraw a little bit in front of the drawing! I have the heart to want to die!
After finally finishing the painting, I started to grade 1:1 according to the instructions. It wasn't until 11 o'clock in the evening that the one and a half grades were completed. I drew 5.5 hours this afternoon and even the evening.
The surface of paint by numbers looks pretty tight, there are no gaps between the colors, the original shape is revealed as soon as the light shines behind the back. There are a lot of white dots and small gaps! This is what I said in another post in response to my friend saying that applying it once is not enough and that it needs to be painted twice.
Also did not sleep in! I got up and started work at 7:45 and finished painting the N color palette that was not finished last night. It was almost 10 o'clock! Then I continued to work hard, and by 4 o'clock in the afternoon, I finished 3 grades and painted for 5 hours. Painted for 4 hours in the evening and finished 3 grades. Probably the prototype has come out!
The last two colors took 2 hours! Completed!
Unexpectedly, a painting that I thought would be drawn very slowly was completed quickly during the 5.1 holidays!
Total time: 36 hours!
to sum up:
The effect is very good! right.
It's very real, so it's good to have more colors, small grids, and delicate drawings!
The total time is not too much, but there are many small grids with many twists and turns, and they need to be toned. Fortunately, I cleaned up 12 empty boxes and adjusted the colors, otherwise it would be very troublesome to adjust them when I need them. Variety is not easy, novices are not recommended to paint potted flower paint by numbers.
